Tuition paid!

The amazing parents and staff at the kids school decided they wanted to do something for the boys and I for Christmas. They got this tree and attached all sorts of giftcards to it. Of course when the lady was telling me about it and handing it to me I cried. She had tears in her eyes too and said everybody just wants to help us out and they all care about us so much. She also told me they collected enough money to pay for both boys tuition through March! That’s seriously such a huge gift for us and I’m so thankful for the people God has put into our lives. We’ve been so blessed and I know one day we’ll be able to pay it forward.

I’m actually not putting up any decorations this year so it’s nice to have this little tree already decorated I can set on the table for the boys. If Bob was here he would already have all the lights on the house and bushes and the tree would have been brought up from downstairs and decorated. Whether or not I put up any decorations is not going to change anything for the kids. They will still be getting gifts (more than they’ve ever gotten with the different groups that have adopted us) and we will still be celebrating the true meaning of Christmas, only this time without their daddy. Having the house all decorated isn’t going to change that.
